Lots of beer and wine on tap. Lots of specialty pizzas. . Though they have a plain cheese option that you can add toppings to.
Brickyard Hollow Brewing in Freeport, ME is a great place to go for some delicious food and craft beer. I recently tried their smoked pulled pork gouda mac & cheese jalapeño cornbread pizza, farm fries, and Westcustago Stout, and I was not disappointed!
The pizza was amazing. The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was tangy and flavorful, and the toppings were all perfectly balanced. The smoked pulled pork was tender and juicy, the Gouda mac & cheese was creamy and gooey, and the jalapeño cornbread added a nice touch of heat and sweetness. I could have eaten this pizza all day long.
The farm fries were also top-notch. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and they were seasoned perfectly.
And of course, no meal at Brickyard Hollow Brewing would be complete without trying one of their craft beers. The Westcustago Stout is a must-try for any fan of dark beers. It's rich and chocolatey, with a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness.
Overall, I had a great experience at Brickyard Hollow Brewing. The food was delicious, the beer was outstanding, and the service was friendly. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the Freeport area!
One of the best brew pubs around, in my opinion. These folks seem to have the recipe for success going strong. They continue to open new sites and everyone we have tried has been wonderful. Their food is relatively simple, but it's always well prepared, nicely presented and served with a friendly smile. I don't drink much anymore but they do have good beer here, enough to tempt me occasionally. It's just a well-run business with a great concept and we're happy to support them.
A great little pizza joint in downtown Freeport. A different style of pizza with their own twist. They also have their own line of beers. Family friendly with slices of pizza ready for a takeaway or order a full pie. They have a selection of bowls to choose from. Take a peek at their menu, which is on their website. Lots of parking to choose from curb side or a parking garage nearby.
Fabulous pizza in a very convenient location! The pizza was top notch, from the crust to the quality of the cheese and toppings used. I also appreciated the variety of pizza they offer, very different from the normal fair. Pretty decent beer selection as well. The staff was above and beyond polite and professional too, which is always nice! Even more unexpected was the loaded fries. It's fantastic, definitely worth getting this!
30 minute wait for mediocre nachos that were proclaimed "gnarly" and "4 people couldn't finish them." Thankfully the Brick Table Fest (marzen) was good. The Pizza-by-the-slice looked good.
The Blueberry Pizza is literally an experience. Local brews to pair with your pizza make it a great choice for lunch or casual dinner. The only regret you'll have is that there will definitely be more eclectic options than your appetite will allow you to explore. Peach Basil, Sweet Potato Goat cheese, or mashed potato pizza....? I wanna try them all. But I'll need to become a regular.
Great place for lunch in Freeport, close to outlet stores. My husband had sausage, feta and banana pepper pizza which was very tasty. Good crust - crispy outside and soft inside. I had the crispy pork banh mi bowl which was surprisingly filling and delicious. Lots of slow roasted pork crisped to perfection with rice, kimchee, cucumber and more. Seemed like an odd choice in a place mainly known for pizza but it was very good!
